Second General Meeting

Today is CPIC's second general meeting in year 2011. We have invited Ms Liu from CPCS to give us a talk about her experience as a clinical psychologist. Due to the smaller number of CPIC members who attended, the talk became a warm, sharing session. We all sat on the floor and chit-chatted with Ms Liu, gaining invaluable insights. A lot of questions have been posed, and Ms Liu answered them with great enthusiasm. Thank you Ms Liu, for your time and effort! And also to the members, thank you for coming for our second event this year! :-D We may be a small bunch but we'll grow!

Make this room not this cold? Haha… just kidding. Anyway, enjoyed today’s session. Very informative. And I would prefer an interactive session where there is more discussion like today’s meeting.

The committee members were feeling really cold too! And we’re not kidding at all! Haha! Sorry for that, we will remember to get the remote control from the administration next time. And yes, CPIC believes that discussions like today’s are interesting and educational, and inspiring too! Hence, we will try our very best to invite speakers more frequently. Hopefully they’d spare some time slots for us! J

This week’s talk was certainly educational. Liked the informal approach and the warm environment that this club gives. Don’t really know what to expect next week… Maybe split personalities e.g. 24 Jacks?

Thank you for your kind feedback! Warm environment? I think most members would agree that it was freezing today, haha! Just joking, I get what you mean. Without your participation I doubt we’d be able to generate a warm environment too! We will not have a meeting next week; when we have one, we will inform you through email, or you could check out the updates on our Facebook account. We will consider your suggestion, thank you! It is interesting to have talks like today. Good to be able to know the members better too! =)
